You MUST have hearing and eye protection on before entering the range.
Always keep the gun pointed down range.
Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot
Always keep the gun unloaded until you are ready to use it
Take position at the lane assigned to you. Do not change lanes.
No rapid firing is allowed. Two-second rule (2 seconds between rounds) is in effect for rifle calibers only.
Targets MUST be set at full distance before shooting (rifle calibers only.)
Shooters must load and unload their own firearms.
If a mechanical malfunction occurs, consult with the Range Safety Officer.
Only line of sight firing is permitted. (No drawing from the hip or holster.)
Keep your finger off the trigger until on target.
When leaving the firing line temporarily, lay the firearm with the muzzle down range and the action open.
Upon completion of shooting session, unload firearm(s) with the action opened, unless it is cased.
Cease Fire” means…STOP SHOOTING AND STEP BACK from lane.
DO NOT REMOVE JAMMED OR MALFUNCTIONING FIREARMS away from the lane; contact the Range Safety Officer immediately for removal. Law Enforcement Officers, LEOSA Certified and Military Active and Veterans may be exempt from certain rules herein with the permission and direction of the Range Safety Officer so long as consistent with all appropriate safety and decorum.
The Range Safety Officer on duty is in direct charge of the range and all participants at all times.
The Range Safety's determination/instuctions are the FINAL word.
The Range Safety Officer will ban from the range any person handling a firearm in an unsafe or careless manner.
In the event that there is a primer strike but the ammunition fails to fire, notify a Range Safety Officer immediately.
DO NOT HANDLE THE CARTRIDGE!!!.
Any person seen firing at lights, baffles, carriers or any other range property or equipment will be expelled from the range immediately, and will be reported to the proper authorities for appropriate action.
Firing at boxes, cups, or other objects is prohibited.
Only targets authorized by the Range Safety Officer will be permitted.
All shooters will be held accountable and will pay for any damage you cause including replacement and installation charges.
Safety glasses are MANDATORY when entering the range. All safety glasses MUST be ANSI approved.
Center Target Indoor Range rents safety glasses for a nominal fee or you may purchase from our inventory.

ALL RANGE BRASS IS TO BE PUSHED FORWARD
DO NOT ENTER THE RANGE TO RETRIEVE ANY BRASS.
Center Target permits certain rifles such as .223 and .22 calibers. However, all rifles and rifle ammunition must be inspected and approved by the Range Safety Officer prior to firing.
Most handguns (except those chambered for centerfire rifle ammunition above 2,000 fps) are permitted on the range.
Full automatic firearms are allowed at the discretion of the Range Safety Officer and proper paperwork must be presented in advance (Pistol calibers only will be allowed).
Black powder muzzle loading firearms are NOT permitted on the range.
Shotguns are allowed at the discretion of the Range Safety Officer. (PISTOL GRIP SHOTGUNS are NOT permitted unless approved by the Range Safety Officer) – SLUGS ONLY.
All air guns and BB guns are allowed with permission of the Range Safety Officer.
NO .338 Lapua or .50 BMG.
For firearms not mentioned here, check with the Range Safety Officer prior to use on the range.
Standard commercial and reloaded ammunition is permitted.
Any type ammunition designed for penetrating metal is not permitted.
NO STEEL JACKETED, STEEL SHOT OR STEEL CORE BULLETS permitted – NO green tip 5.56mm.
No tracer, incendiary, armor piercing, gas or explosive ammunition permitted.
All firearms brought into the range must be completely UNLOADED.
All guns and ammunition are subject to inspection by the Range Safety Officer for cleanliness, workability and safety before entering the range.
All persons using the facilities shall be of good character.
Appropriate dress is required at all times.
Center Target Firearms and Indoor Range is a family-oriented facility and we have the right to refuse service to anyone.
Persons smelling of alcohol or who appear impaired will be required to leave the facility.
All persons utilizing the range are required to receive, understand and sign the rules, regulations and disclaimer and waiver of liability notice.
A responsible adult must accompany persons under eighteen (18) years of age. This adult shall act as a coach, and MUST remain with the minor at all times while the minor utilizes the range. The adult further agrees to be responsible for the minor and agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless the gun range and any of its affiliates, associates, employees, assigns or owners for any actions by the minor.
NO FOOD, DRINK, CHEWING TOBACCO, SNUFF OR SMOKING ALLOWED ON THE RANGE.
Only one shooter at a time allowed per firing lane; only one un-cased firearm permitted at the firing lane.
Persons not shooting or coaching are not permitted on the range.
No one is permitted forward of the firing line. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Any equipment or other personal items in/on a shooting lane left unattended are at the owner’s risk. Center Target is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Studies have shown that unborn children could potentially be harmed by noise levels in a firing range. Those pregnant should not be inside the range area.
